Group 223 Goals

  1. Safety - is everyone's number one priority. No safety incidents.

  2. Commitment, pride, duty - to self, organization and community.

  3. Cadet program - Make it interesting and eventful. Increase the number of Cadets in Group 223 by 15 percent.

  4. Aerospace capabilities - Education is key to a successful program. Increase the number of Aerospace activities by three.

  5. Senior program - Ensure involvement and provide interesting classes for learning new ideas.

  6. Emergency Services - increase the number of teams per squadron by one. Cadets seemed very interested; we need to understand how to draw in more senior members.

  7. Breadth and depth learning CAP - focus on certain areas in CAP and broaden our knowledge but also add depth in a few areas so we are able to function efficiently and effectively.

  8. Professionalism - keep emotions in check and take nothing personally. It isn't about you; it's about the cadets, the community, New Jersey, and the Nation.

  9. Excellence - always do our best, it is the right thing.

  10. Motivation - Stay positive. Explain how it can be done, and not why it can't be done. Positive attitude is key, share it.

  11. Participation - Do our best to participate in Group and Wing activities. Increase our level of participation in Wing events by 2 per squadron. Include all squadrons to participate in our Group activities. We learn together, we perform better.
